I would like to extend my thanks to the entire staff for their fantastic service! My procedure was pain free, and everyone was very attentive and pleasant to deal with. I also appreciate the very quick service as on both visits to the office, I was very promptly seated in the chair after little to no waiting time. Thanks again, I would recommend Shamblott Dentistry to anyone!

Nervous Nelly HAD to have a root canal and crown
My experience with this procedure was so much better than I ever anticiapated due to past history of dental experience. The staff is friendly, caring and professional. I know that I'm a difficult patient but was treated with the utmost respect and care. The price was far better than I had paid in the past for the same service. I am very pleased with Shamblott Dentistry! Have appointments made for the rest of my family as we were new to the area and all needed to find a place to have our dental needs serviced.

My First Root Canal
I'm proud that I even showed up for my appointment - I was so scared. After generous numbing I didn't feel anything. I loved that I could watch a movie during the procedure.

I had a root canal and cleaning today. I won't say it was pleasurable, but I will go with very tolerable. My root canal was uncomfortable at first and I didn't even need to say anything...Dr.. Shamblott could tell and stopped the procedure until I was much more comfortable. Also, he is a very nice and personal dentist to have work on your teeth. I feel I have now found a dentist for the future!

I was pretty anxious when I had heard that I would need a root canal and two crowns. When I went to my appointment, I was still a little overwhelmed. We started the process and I was able to receive laughing gas. This really alleviated my nerves. Dr. Shamblock made sure that I knew what the procedured involved. During the appointment, the assistant was so nice. She even went to grab me a blanket because I was cold. I would definately recommend this office to others.

I am a "dentalphobe", and the idea of having such a procedure done fills me with fear. Dr. Shamblott and the rest of the team were incredibly gentle and took every effort to make me as comfortable as they could. They made an unpleasant experience tolerable. I will not go anywhere else for my dental needs again!

As usual, Dr. Shamblott and his staff took time to make sure I was comfortable and informed. I was nervous about my root canal and Dr. Shamblott gave me as much time as I needed to ask questions and get comfortable. He checked in with me several times during the procedure to make sure I was doing okay. I was comfortable throughout the procedure. I spent years avoiding the dentist because of fear and many bad experiences. Dr. Shamblott has changed my mind about going to the dentist.

I needed an emergency root canal - Scott worked me in, I was able to watch a Video during the course of it, and the support staff were excellent! Today is the day after, and I am absolutely pain free - I don't even need to take pain meds. Scott uses the latest in all dental technology - leaps and bounds above what I used to experience just a few years ago at another dentist. Wonderful service - most higly recommended!

Highly skilled, efficient, professional and pleasant dentist and staff, providing superior, pain and anxiety free dental care. With the exception of evening appointments availability, which could be challenging, it is a strongly positive experience.

I had a great deal of dental work done: root canals, bridges, and fillings. The work was completed in one visit. There was no pain during or after.

I recently had a root canal on tooth 15, the top tooth next closest to my wisdom tooth on the left.
I just want to say the proficiency and expert work this office does isextremely impressive. Not only was everyone proficient but the staff was also kind and you can tell they enjoy each other’s company and working as a team. As uncomfortable as it is having someone putting tools and apparatus in your mouth my root canal was about as pleasant an experience as any human being can experience given the procedure. I watched a movie and not only had zero pain throughout the procedure but later that day and night there was still absolutely no pain still.
I highly recommend this location to any friends, families, and strangers, and believe this location should receive recognition and accommodation as one of the premier facilities in the nation for dentistry.

Although my dental visit was involved and longer than expected, the dentist and assistant did everything possible to make me comfortable and make it as pleasant as possible.

I am one of “those” patients who never gets numb. I remember my first root canal twenty years ago as a very painful experience, which lasted for several hours and several visits, due to the fact that I could not get completely numb. I could always feel surprising painful jolts throughout the years during dental procedures, something I viewed as uncomfortable but yet necessary in order to have my dental work done. Boy was I wrong!
Dr. Shamblott has completed three root canals and crowns for me in the past several months, completely pain free. He is the FIRST dentist who has ever gotten me completely numb. During the first root canal, I stopped him and told him I was not numb and could feel when he worked on one area of the tooth. He was patient and not at all irritated that he had to stop. He proceeded to give me more anesthetic through what he called an “x-tip”. All dentists should use this! I have never been so numb in my whole life. My dental experience was completely different and pain free because of this.
Dr. Shamblott also fitted me for a night guard appliance called an NTI and it is far more comfortable than my previous night guard.
I can now eat on both sides of my mouth without any sensitivity, something I haven’t been able to do in years.
If you have ever had problems getting numb, I highly recommend that you give Dr. Shamblott a call. The staff is very friendly, knowledgeable and willing to answer any questions.

Thank you for a painless office experience at Shamblott Family Dentistry. I did NOT believe it was possible to complete a root canal without one ounce of pain. Every promise you made was true.
