Quick, professional and pain free
I recently had several teeth extracted that included wisdom and non wisdom. While only 2 of them were full extractions, with the others being more of a root removal, I was still very pleased with the appoitnment and process of which they were removed. Being somewhat of a nervous person when it comes to the dentist, I still felt very comfortable and to my surprise nearly pain free during and after the extractions. I would recommend anyone to Shamblott office's and their top class staff

As much fun as you can have at the dentist
The procedure took longer than anyone thought. My cavities were deeper than expected but the staff made me as comfortable as I've ever been. Getting teeth filled isn't really something I recommend, but if you need to have it done these are the people to see!

The whole team at Shamblott is awesome. The patience and dedication to patient comfort is so apparent. I felt very comfortable with the whole experience, even after being in the chair for 5 hours.

The dentist and her assistant that helped work on my teeth are very patient and understanding women! And very caring. they made me feel very cmfortable in my situation! My teeth were very bad and even though everything is painful they make you feel very much at ease!! Thank you ladies very much!!

Painless
Dr Shamblott has changed my whole outlook on going to the dentist. I wish I had found him years ago. I actually burst out laughing during a root canal today! This coming from someone who went for years without seeing a dentist because of fear. Keep up the good work! Oh and Amy and Lorna are AWESOME too!!

Scott Shamblott takes feeling no pain seriously.
A most progressive dental experience. Competent, friendly staff. Reminders via text. Flexible scheduling. Options for pain distraction: nitrous oxide, Cities 97 (no Muzac here), movie goggles and headphones. One appointment (a root canal) ended too soon for me to catch the finish of "Bagger Vance" so they kindly let me resume the movie where I'd left off on a subsequent appointment.

Dentistry has always been a dirty word for me because I have minimal pain tolerance. Worse there's no getting around it; I'm a gagger. And then there's the claustrophobic feeling of having multiple strangers' handsmin your mouth. So, when I was referred to Dr. Shamblott for sedation dentistry by a trusted colleague and FM107, I didn't hesitate. It was fantastic! Can you imagine describing a trip to the dentist (even if only for cleaning) as fantastic?!! My only memories of the experience were arriving at the dental office in a relaxed state (all part of the sedation process), being treated with gentle respect by the team who would be working on me, talking with the nurse anesthetist, and quietly slipping into 'sleep' during which time they accomplished six hours of root canals, bridge replacements, crowns, and other dental work. As a new patient, throughout the entire process; e.g., initial exam, analysis, diagnosis, treatment plan discussions, and appointment scheduling, I was impressed with what is clearly a focus on health, transparent communication, quality patient care, clinical expertise, and customer service which is absent judgment or shame.
My deepest thanks to Dr. Shamblott and his entire clinical 'family' for helping me reframe how I think about my dental health including my immediate and ongoing plans for daily maintenance!

Dr. Shamblott saved the day!
After walking around for 3 weeks with pain, Dr. Shamblott identified the problem, removed the wisdom tooth and sent me home pain-free in less than an hour! His friendly staff made me comfortable during a unfamiliar procedure. The whole experience was totally painless. Dr. Shamblott was very thorough in explaining to me exactly what would happen and sent me home with clear instructions on how to take care of my mouth and what do to about any pain or questions. I would recommend Dr. Shamblott to all my family and friends - for preventative care, year -round maintenance and emergency care! He's my choice!

People very rarely take the time to write a letter or call to express sincere appreciation when it is deserved. This letter is to express how very pleased I am with the services that I received at Shamblott Family Dentistry.
I have been treated with the utmost patience and concern from the very first call that I made as a “terrified” patient who was in pain to my last appointment to cement crowns. I was very impressed that when I called the office with a severe toothache that I was asked to come over to the office as soon as possible. My concerns were addressed promptly and efficiently upon my arrival. Xrays and a complete examination were performed in an expert manner on my very first visit. Because I was very frightened about the possibility of having a great deal of dental work done, the option of sedation was explained to me and I felt that it would work out perfectly for me.
I had two separate lengthy sedation visits and highly recommend the sedation dentistry experience. I was able to complete extensive dental work in a very relaxed environment and didn’t have any recall of the experience the next day. I cannot say enough to compliment Dr. Shamblott and his highly trained staff. Dr. Shamblott immediately made me feel comfortable and completed my dental work in an extremely efficient manner in an office with all of the most up to date technical equipment. Dr. Shamblott made sure that I was comfortable with every aspect of my care along the way. The staff at Shamblott Family Dentistry are all specially trained to handle all of the needs of the sedation patient and are extremely patient and caring.
In closing, I highly recommend Dr. Shamblott and the staff at Shamblott Family Dentistry. I would not consider having dental work done in the future without the benefits of sedation. To say that Dr. Shamblott and his staff are the best is truly an understatement!

I had suffered with the pain in my jaw from clenching my teeth at night for more than 5 years when I changed dentists and began visiting Dr. Shamblott. I shared with him how I’d been grinding my teeth for several years and how much pain I endured not only in my jaw but also blinding headaches. I had tried every mouthpiece available. Nothing worked. Nothing relieved the pain. Pain pills became a way of life and all but the tenderest cuts of meats became a thing of the past. Chewing gum was a distant memory. Dr. Shamblott told me about the NTI. Given my history with mouthguard products, I was skeptical. However, desperation is a great motivator so I tried the NTI. The first few nights it felt a little awkward. However, the awkwardness was almost immediately offset by the jubilation I felt at the cessation of jaw pain and headaches. Now – two years later – I can’t imagine sleeping without it. I always double check that I have it in my cosmetic kit before I leave on a trip. I’d be lost without it! I now eat whatever I want, no longer worrying about jaw pain. I enjoy chewing gum again for the first time in ten years! I am indebted to Dr. Shamblott for not only having the product available to his patients, but for also doing a great job in educating me, explaining why the NTI works where other products have failed. The NTI has drastically improved my quality of life!
