Wisdom tooth and root canal
I had to have a wisdom tooth extracted, and to add to the problem, the tooth next to it needed a root canal. To be sure it wasn't the most pleasant of experiences in my life, but Dr. Shamblott and his team did an excellent job of making me as comfortable as possible, as well as explaining everything that they were doing. From the nitrous, to the "in flight" movie, they treated me well. The next day, most of the pain was gone. I have already recommended them to others in my family.

I still am not happy to go the dentist with my forever having dental phobia. But Dr Shamblott has made it extremely easier. He is so caring and kind along with all of the staff. Visiting Dr Shamblotts office has really been my first and only positive dental experience.

Crowing achievement
Truthfully, I was a little freaked out about having a crown. It was a piece of cake! I was told the
appointment would be one and half hours and it was exactly that. The hand outs regarding the days procedures were very helpful, as well.

Same day appointment for new customer emergency
Sunday night an old filling crumbles. Upper back tooth is hollow, jagged, and scraping my cheek. Monday morning call to my
dentist results in next day appointment. So I send online request for emergency appointment to Shamblott Family Dentistry. Within the hour Dental office calls and at 4:30pm I am in chair receiving excellent dental attention to my urgent need.

No need to dred the dentist
I used to dred going to the dentist before I started
going to Shamblott Family Dentistry. I recently had some work done on my teeth and it turned out very nice. I thought for sure it was going to be very painful and uncomfortable but that wasn't the case at all. The nitris oxcide (sp?) and watching a movie helped take my mind off what was going on with my teeth. I don't know anyone who likes to go to the dentist, but I know that I don't dred it any more. Everyone at Shamblott, from the front desk to the dentists take execllent care of you while you are there. I wouldn't want to go anywhere else.

My 1st visit to Shamblott was a very pleasant experience. I was greeted with a smile and had a small wait. My
routine cleaning went very well and the hygenist was very kind and offered suggestions on how to better care for my teeth. Since this was my 1st visit, my xrays and consultation were free (which saved me over $300). We do not have dental insurance and usually have to "shop around" for our best deal, but I will not look any further than Shamblott from now on! Thank you, Shamblott, for treating me like a Queen!

Crown visit
I'm sure no-one looks forward to a visit for a crown placement, but my experience was a very good one. Dr. Claudia and staff were so nice and kind to me and always made sure that I was comfortable and pain-free. I even got to watch a movie during my procedure! Implant Procedure
Had my anchors put in the evening of January 5th, 2012, and have to share that it went very smoothly. Dr. Shamblott insured that my lower mouth was numb prior to beginning the procedure to set anchors, and with the exception of pressure as they were screwed in, which was expected, it was pain free. Even the pressure is not pain, just the normal pressusre required to set them. The Dr. took several xrays throughout the procedure to insure the anchors were settting exactly and he wanted and also explained what he was doing throubhout. Would It is now thursday night , the 6th and after taking the prescribed meds (haven't had to use the pain pills) all I have is a bit of swelling that is barely visible. and jaws feel fine. Oh - great

I am on antibitoics with every visit. In order to minitgate risk and minimize antibiotics intake, you consolidated cleaning with a cap. This is a very positive approach for people like me. Second, Kristi is outstanding. It is the best cleaning I ahve ever received....competent, thorough, quick.

This is hands down, the best dentist I have ever been too. They are caring and concerned for how you feel and make sure you are comfortable through the whole procedure. They also do their best to accommodate your schedule as much as they can. The dentist is never a fun visit, but Claudia De Llano is wonderful and makes it better than you would think possible.

Dr. Shamblott took the fact that I am 8 weeks pregnant very seriously at my appointment and was very cautious and knowledgable about how to proceed with any dental procedures especially x-rays. Although getting a root canal is not the most pleasant experience, I had no pain during the procedure. Dr. Llano made me feel very comfortable, and gave a lot of reassurance, which is exactly what helps me get through denal appointments. She told me everything she was going to do before she did it, which also made me feel much better!

Oddly enough I actually enjoyed getting my wisdom teeth removed. The gas before and the filling allowed me to really relax and listening to music made it really relaxing. My first cavities filled
My daughter had not had cavities filled before, so she was a little anxious coming in. However, when she came out, she said that it was fine, and it wasn't as bad as she worried it might be. I think the "laughing gas" worked well. I know that she liked picking her "prizes" at the end! As her Mom, I appreciated the dentist Dr de Llano coming out and telling me that she did a great job. Also, thanks for the DQ coupons!

Finally a dentist that takes time!
I have had many terrible dental experiences and one left me with a root canal but no crown and that dentist never took time to answer any of my concerns/questions. Like a drive through experience. I had not been to the dentist for 4 years. I made an appointment due to a chipped tooth and mild pain. I was not scolded for not seeing a dentist in 4 years. The staff from the front desk to the dentist was friendly and supportive. They cleaned off the last 4 years of plaque (gently). Talked about my options with me fo treatment and acted as though I was the only person in there. They helped me decipher which rinses and pastes would be best for my sensitive teeth. They also have sedation dentistry available, might come in handly if I ever need another root canal. Thank you to everyone!

Dr. Shamblott and his staff walked me through the procedure, making sure I understood everything, always giving me the opportunity to take a break or ask questions. Cavity fillings and assessing condition of tooth
Dr. Shamblott did an excellent job of treating the cavities but was also very proactive in identifying a problem with one of my teeth before it manifested itself. He did a great job of clearly explaining the condition and the treatment options. He and his team are top notch and I highly recommend his practice to anyone who is seeking dentistry services.

Anxious dentist-go-er
I'm normally anxious when going to the dentist, but the welcoming receptionist was just the start of a great experience. The dental hygenist was a good conversationalist, so at least I wasn't focused on the fact that I was about to have my teeth ground on for a cleaning. She was also very sensitive to the fact that I was anxious. Dr. Shamblott helped me to understand my care plan, even the silliest of questions he was willing to answer. The hygenist was also very knowledgeable. I'd say, all staff you can trust! I haven't had any actual dental work (just had x-rays and cleaning) yet, but I'm sure it will be as pleasent of an experience as possible at the dentist office.

Unexpected Experience
