Dr. Scott Shamblott loves helping people take care of their mouths. He believes everyone deserves the best dental care available, and does his best to offer this to all. He treats everyone the same way he would treat his wife or daughter – even patients visiting him for the first time.

Dr. Scott Shamblott is a warm and caring professional. When a patient sits in Dr. Shamblott’s chair he/she feels respected and appreciated. Each patient brings unique experiences to their dental visit, and Dr. Shamblott understands this, doing his best to make everyone feel welcome and comfortable, regardless of the condition of their mouth, the quality of their brushing, or the number of months or years since their last dental visit. Patients at Shamblott Family Dentistry don’t get lectured, and they are never shamed or criticized.

Many dentists in town refer patients to Dr. Shamblott because of his welcoming attitude. Patients who are afraid of the dentist, who are hard to get numb, or who don’t like their current dentist – Dr. Shamblott welcomes everyone with open arms, ready to treat each person in a kind and caring way.

Dr. Shamblott’s goals include making it as easy as possible to come to the dentist. Same day emergency visits are common – if a patient (even a new patient) is in pain, his goal is to help you as soon as possible. Laughing gas (nitrous oxide) is offered free of charge to help relax patients. Headphones and video glasses are available as well, so patients can listen to their favorite music or watch a DVD of their choosing to help them relax. In addition, new patients are offered a free initial exam and necessary x-rays, because Dr. Shamblott strongly believes you shouldn’t have to pay to find out what’s wrong with your teeth.
