Halloween Candy Buy Back 2011
Bring Your Halloween Candy to Shamblott Family Dentistry as Part of the National Halloween Candy Buy Back Program
The Halloween Candy Buy Back Program at Shamblott Family Dentistry
The Halloween Candy Buy Back not only puts money in your children's pockets, it donates candy to the troops.
Don't let treats trick you this Halloween! Sticky, chewy and hard candies can break orthodontic appliances and wires, or even break your teeth. Plus, all that extra sugar increases the chances of developing cavities.
Now your kids can enjoy the fun of trick or treating and participate in a great cause. Shamblott Family Dentistry is proud to participate in the national Halloween Candy Buy Back Program.
Kids Receive $1 for Every Pound of Candy. All Candy Donated to Our Troops to Say Thanks!
Kids, bring your unopened candy to the Shamblott Family Dentistry office between 3:00 pm - 7:00 pm on November 1- 2, and receive $1 for every pound of candy you donate.
All candy is donated to Operation Gratitude, which includes the candy in care packages sent to troops serving overseas.
Last year, Operation Gratitude received over 125 TONS of candy and shipped 60,000 care packages to the troops. Shamblott Family Dentistry donated over 200 pounds of candy last year. This year, our goal is to donate over 500 pounds of candy. Won't you help support our troops?
Shamblott Family Dentistry and the troops thank you…and your teeth will, too!
Shamblott Family Dentistry Supports the International Spanish Language Academy of Minnetonka with an Additional Donation
ISLA Families Encouraged to Bring Candy to School to Help the Capital Campaign
The International Spanish Language Academy in Minnetonka is a K-6 charter school that offers a Spanish immersion and International Baccalaureate Primary Years Programme curriculum. The school recently moved into new space and started a Capital Campaign to pay for their expansion. A playground structure is high on the fundraising list for both students and parents.
To support this worthwhile project, Shamblott Family Dentistry will donate $1 per pound of candy to the ISLA Capital Campaign for all ISLA families who bring their unwanted and unopened Halloween candy to the school! The candy will be weighed at the school, and then combined with candy received at the Shamblott Family Dentistry offices to be sent directly to Operation Gratitude.
Your Halloween Candy Donation Benefits the Troops – and the School's Capital Campaign
ISLA receives $1 for every pound of candy donated at the school….and our troops benefit from the candy.
Giving your candy to the Halloween Candy Buy Back Program benefits so many people. Please participate, and encourage your child to participate!
Only ISLA families should bring candy to the school. All others should bring their candy to Shamblott Family Dentistry.
