Shamblott Family Dentistry Provides Free Dental Care during Dentistry From the Heart Event, February 22, 2013
On February 22, 2013, Dr. Scott Shamblott and the staff of Shamblott Family Dentistry will participate in Dentistry From the Heart, a nationwide event to help people in need receive much-needed dental treatment.
"It all comes down to wanting to provide something greater to the local community," Dr. Shamblott said. "The services provided by Dentistry From the Heart helps more than just a patient's teeth. It gives them a renewed sense of hope, and a reason to smile."
On February 22, 2013 starting at 7:00 am, Dr. Scott Shamblott and the staff of Shamblott Family Dentistry will see as many patients as possible until 4:00 pm. Patients will be seen on a first come, first served basis.
Dentists provide new patients with a free dental examination, necessary X-rays, fillings and/or dental extractions, as needed.
Patients needing more extensive treatment may be referred to other service providers in the community for follow-up appointments.
In addition to Shamblott Family Dentistry, Lakeville Dental Associates will also participate in this special event.

Dr. Shamblott and his staff have seen many people arrive in pain at Shamblott Family Dentistry on the day of the event and leave with a big smile of thanks. One day can change someone's life for the better.
Since Shamblott Family Dentistry began participating in the event, they have donated over $142,000 worth of dental services. Last year alone, Shamblott Family Dentistry helped 93 people and donated over $42,000 of dental services as part of the Dentistry From the Heart event.
For people suffering from dental pain, the services they receive during Dentistry From the Heart is a gift they will always remember. Through the generosity of dental offices such as Shamblott Family Dentistry and many others participating nationwide, people in need of dental treatment can get the care they need.
About Dentistry From the Heart
One day can change someone's life. That's the premise behind the one-day event known as Dentistry From the Heart. Since its inception in 2001, over 50,000 people nationwide have benefited from free dental services donated by caring dentists in communities across America.
Dr. Shamblott and the team of dentists and staff at Shamblott Family Dentistry donate their services on this special day to help people in need. All patients are welcome and treated on a first come, first served basis.
