Dr. Shamblott made a bid at a silent auction and the prize was a ride on the big red truck!
During the fire truck visit, Dr. Shamblott and his daughter, Rachel, along with 4 other children and other adults, were able take a tour of the fire trucks. They were also able to go 90 feet in the air in the truck's bucket lift.
Hopkins Fire Department has around 41 members and takes on about 550 responses annually.
