What is one thing that is hard to measure on your own? You guessed it...it's bad breath! Halitosis, also known as bad breath, can cause anxiety and be embarrassing.

Ever wonder what causes bad breath? Some of the causes are health conditions, dry mouth, and the foods we eat. Uncontrolled diabetes is one health condition the can cause a fruity odor. Sinus infections can also be associated with bad breath because of nasal drips. Some foods that can be the culprit of bad breath are onions and garlic.

Little changes such as brushing your teeth and tongue, flossing, and drinking lots of water can help eliminate bad breath. Certain mouth rinses and toothpastes can kill the bacteria that cause plaque buildup and they can be good at neutralizing odor.

One last thing that can help with bad breath is visiting your dentist at least two times a year for regular dental exams!
